It can sometimes be difficult to see just how much happens across the Pagan Federation in the course of a year.
Some of our work is very visible. Our events, rituals, publications and social media are all in the public eye but much of our work haappens quietly behind the scenes through advocacy, education, safeguarding, interfaith work and conversations with the organisations and institutions that affect Pagan lives.
Our Annual Report and Accounts for 2025–26 brings all of that work together and gives us an opportunity to look back at what our volunteers and community have achieved.
During the year, the Pagan Federation’s work reached more than 500,000 people through our communications, events, advocacy and publications. We published around 10,000 copies of Pagan Dawn, welcomed more than 300 people to eight open rituals in London, and continued our programme of online rituals and educational work.
Our advocacy work continued across education, healthcare, policing, social services, family courts and workplaces. Among the year’s successes was helping to change the policy of an academy trust after a Pagan pupil was refused religious leave to observe the Summer Solstice.
We have also spent a great deal of the year strengthening the foundations beneath that work: reviewing our activities, improving governance and safeguarding, developing our financial systems and IT infrastructure, and bringing volunteers together through our first Officers’ Conference.
There are challenges too, and we haven’t shied away from them. Membership numbers remain an important area of focus, and work is already underway to understand how we can better serve, engage and provide value to both existing and future members.
Perhaps more than anything, though, this report demonstrates something we’re incredibly proud of, and that’s how much can be achieved by people giving their time, knowledge and energy in service to their community.
