Scotland & Ireland contain
so many Pagan sites that it would be invidious to name only three. There are many,
many standing stones, circles, cairns, cromlechs and other sacred places of our
ancestral religions. And there are many, many places where nature has emphasised the
sacred power of our landscape with no need of help from human hands. Please show
respect for sacred sites and for the land they stand on. Conduct yourself as a Pagan
should, leaving no litter and causing no damage. As wise folk say "Do not change
the site, let the site change you."

| District Events:
|
Scotland has long hosted one
of the PFs National Conferences, generally held in Edinburgh in April or May. See
the PF Scotland website for details. Open Earth Day events are well established in
Edinburgh and Glasgow, others may be arranged from year to year.
Ireland hosted its first National Conference in 2000 and hopes to build on the
success of this in future years.
The Edinburgh Beltane & Samhain Fire Festivals are massive, public events
with a strongly Pagan theme even though most of the crowds of thousands who turn
out to watch them are not Pagans.
