Volunteers required

As a volunteer organisation, the Pagan Federation is always looking for people who can help the PF machine run more smoothly. We currently have the following specific vacancies for people:

District Officers

We are currently looking for several people to serve as Regional Co-ordinators and District Managers in various areas of the UK. If you would be interested in any of these positions, or want more information, please contact Keith, mentioning 'District Officer Vacancies'.

'Shadow' Officers

We are always looking for people to shadow existing officers, with a long term view of taking over the roles at some future point, thereby providing some continuity. If you would be interested in any of these demanding roles, or would like to know more, please contact Pam in the first instance.

Hospital and Prison Visitors

These specialist roles are always looking for additional people, across all areas. If you think you have what it takes to help others, please contact John, mentioning 'Hospital/Prison Visitors'.

New Roles

Applications/expressions of interest are invited from PF members interested in volunteering for new National PF Intrafaith Manager and National Outreach Manager positions- as described below. Please note we will also need volunteers for work as District Coordinators for both functions.

IntraFaith Manager: The IntraFaith Manager will have a good basic knowledge of all Pagan paths and traditions and be interested to participate in communication between the various Pagan organisations and traditons. The purpose of this position is to foster mutual respect, understanding and communication between Pagans from all Pagan paths and traditions at both the individual and the organisational level.

Outreach Manager:
The Outreach Manager will be interested to be actively involved in Community Work - as a 'Pagan Resource' coordinator - and have a good basic knowledge and understanding of other faiths and traditions. The purpose of this position is to encourage Pagans, individually and/or on groups, to actively participate in a local Community Work, for example organising practical help to vulnerable groups such as pensioners and disabled people or helping with local charity fund raising activities.

Full 'job descriptions' for either or both positions can be obtained by contacting John, the PF Community Services Officer
